There was a couple of animation errors in this movie.Unlike the last film, Wittgenstein is not seen again for the rest of this film after showing Toaster and the gang how to get to Mars.Ratso, while he is better portrayed than he was in the last film, doesn’t contribute as much to the plot of this movie.The microwave (voiced by Wayne Knight) was an unlikable and obnoxious jerk to Toaster and the gang (until he came with them to Mars).The balloons are pointless, and serve no purpose in the plot, other than singing "Floating".It was never explained how Robbie got placed in the bubble in the first place.Jon Lovitz doesn't return as Radio and his replacement is not very good.Some characters in the movie are not in the novel.Cheap animation, but that is expected from a direct-to-video sequel.While most of the characters are still likable, some of them might come off as one-dimensional, filler, and pointless.The film can get quite unfaithful to the novel, despite being based off of it.This film is so bizarre like having Balloons singing about how they went to space and a bunch of other weird stuff.The idea of appliances going to Mars, although a good idea, was not well-executed enough.The Supreme Commander is a somewhat weak antagonist, but at least his redemption was decently-executed.It also has some cliches, like the "we have to get the baby back" cliche.The plot feels somewhat weaker than the first two movies.
